The Dollar: History and Presentation


The term generally refers to the dollar U.S. dollar or dollar. This famous dollar is the currency most used in international trade and the second currency in circulation after the euro since December 2006.

 
Note: the word "dollar" is also used to refer to the currency of several countries, including Canada, Australia, some states in the Caribbean, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.

Tickets for the U.S. Federal Reserve is printed and issued in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollars. Each ticket bears the motto of a famous person in the history of the United States side and a building face or an emblem tails.
The $ 1 bill is George Washington, the $ 2 bill Thomas Jefferson, the $ 5 Abraham Lincoln, that of Alexander Hamilton $ 10, that of Andrew Jackson $ 20, that of Ulysses S. $ 50 Grant and the $ 100 Benjamin Franklin.
